The Boogeyman Back story:

The Boogeyman wasn't always a monster. In 1926, he was a simple farmer. He work on the farm while his wife, Elizabeth, made medicine using herbs that he grew for her. Her ointments were some of the best medicine, rivaling evening the village doctor. The ranged from healing burns to simple scratches. Unfortunately, this gift caught the attention of the wrong croud. The Cult, who was devoted to the burning of witches, accused John's wife of witch craft and had taken her away. They soon learned that she was pregnant and had John captured for proving her with an offspring. They then were both burned alive. When the pain stopped, John found himself in a very dark place and saw a mysterious figure. The figure had told him that his life was stolen from him and that he was to be given a second chance. The figure then told him if he wants to be whole, he must let go of his former life. John couldn't do it and from then on, he lived in despair for everything he had lost. He had taken on the name "Boogeyman" and vowed that he would haunt and torture the one's who took everything from him.
